Child Safety Standards
Effective date: October 22, 2026
Koinonia Harvest is a private community app for church members aged 18 and over. We have no tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) in any form. These standards apply to everything on the platform: prayer requests, help requests, encouragements, and direct messages.
1. Prohibited content and conduct
We prohibit any content or behavior that sexualizes, exploits, endangers, or grooms a minor, including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), sexual comments about minors, requests for sexual content from or about minors, and attempts to arrange contact with a minor for an improper purpose. This applies whether the content is real, altered, or generated.
2. How we enforce
- Every post and message is checked automatically before it appears, and held items are reviewed by church staff.
- Members can report any post, encouragement, message, or person to church staff from inside the app (the ⋯ menu on a request or conversation, or “Report” under an encouragement).
- Content that violates these standards is removed, and the account is permanently removed. Where the law requires, we report confirmed CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and cooperate with law enforcement.
- We comply with applicable child safety laws, including mandatory reporting obligations in the jurisdictions where we operate.
3. Accounts
You must be 18 or older to create an account. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we remove it and delete the associated data.
4. Reporting a concern
If a child is in immediate danger, call 911 (or your local emergency number). To report a child safety concern about anything on Koinonia Harvest, use the in-app report feature or email our designated child safety contact:
